The Architectural Contractors Trade Association of Michigan (ACT) and the Architectural Contractors Industry Advancement Fund (IAF) collectively promote the growth of the Wall, Ceiling and Flooring industry in Southeast Michigan. Members consist of both Union Contractors signatory to the Carpenters, Lathers, Plasterers, Resilient Floors, Drywall Finishers and Laborers Agreements and their suppliers and manufacturers. Some of the events and programs ACT and IAF sponsor include: Construction Safety Products, the INTEX Achievement Awards, Union Agreement Books jointly negotiated, Scholarship Programs and Career Development through “Make Trades Your Vocation”.
